Our 36V nonwaterproof charger is a must have for the hardcore tournament angler running our batteries. While the batteries are incredibly reliable, we have seen waterproof chargers blowing a fuse on rare occasion. The waterproof charger will serve as a reliable backup. The non waterproof charger can also wake up the battery if on some kind of protection mode whereas the waterproof charger will not always do that job.
